Our senior pupils have been working hard in class and at home to prepare for the forthcoming October Assessment Week.
There is continuing uncertainty around how SQA certification will take place this year. Therefore it is essential that we collect robust, reliable and reflective evidence of pupil progress, in each subject area, throughout the academic year.
The October Assessment week will involve all S4-S6 pupils, at all national levels, completing assessments/tasks/activities that will provide evidence of their current performance level in each subject area. Teachers have informed pupils what content/skills area will be assessed and revision materials are available on MS Teams. Codes for all MS Teams were sent out by Mr Munro earlier this term but are also attached to this post.
I have also attached the Provisional Timetable for the October Assessment Week so that pupils can continue to prepare at home and to help them organise their revision timetable. The timetable shows the level of class, class name and room where the assessment will be taking place. All assessments are being completed during normal lesson times so pupils just need to check which lesson they will be doing their assessment in for each subject. Please note that in current conditions this timetable may be subject to change at short notice and pupils should liaise carefully with their class teachers to confirm assessment dates next week.
